Dr Heather Cochran joined Main Street Veterinary Hospital in 2003. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Wellesley College and worked in cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Cochran then attended Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 1996.
She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston prior to practicing locally. Her professional memberships include Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA).
Dr. Cochran lives with her husband, their three children, two dogs (Sammy and Marco), and two cats (Jilly and Wesley). In her free time, she enjoys gardening, visiting her family's beach house in South Dartmouth, and watching her kids' sports games. She also volunteers her time with the Neponset Valley Humane Society.
