Ariane Goerlich — Chief of Staff
Dr. Ariane Goerlich is originally from Munich, Germany and is the Chief of Staff at Main Street Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Goerlich attended German Gymnasium for her Baccalaureate and majored in Biology and French. She later went on to obtain her DVM from Veterinary Faculty of Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany and is an ECVFG Graduate of Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Aside from preventative care, her interests include acute and chronic pain management, physical therapy and rehabilitation, urgent care and emergencies and ophthalmology.
Richard Medcraft, DVM
Dr. Richard Medcraft is a 1990 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. An Indiana native, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville (Indiana) before pursuing a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from Iowa State University. Prior to joining Main Street Veterinary Hospital in 2004, Dr. Medcraft practiced emergency medicine for 10 years.
Dr. Medcraft lives with his wife, who is also a veterinarian, their two sons, two dogs, and four cats. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). He enjoys walking the dogs and watching his sons play soccer.
Heather Cochran, DVM
Dr Heather Cochran joined Main Street Veterinary Hospital in 2003. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Wellesley College and worked in cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Cochran then attended Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 1996.
She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston prior to practicing locally. Her professional memberships include Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA).
